At 530am.io, we strive to provide valuable services to our community. This Refund Policy explains your rights regarding refunds and cancellations for our subscription services.
2. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, if you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
2.1 How the Right of Withdrawal Works
- Withdrawal period: 14 days from the date of your subscription purchase
- Full refund: You will receive a full refund of the amount paid
- No questions asked: You do not need to provide a reason for withdrawal

2.2 Express Waiver of Right of Withdrawal
By subscribing to 530am.io, you acknowledge that:
- You gain immediate access to our services upon subscription
- If you use the service during the 14-day period, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract
- By using the service, you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed
💡 Important: However, if you have not actively used any membership features (e.g., have not posted any content), you maintain your full right of withdrawal and will receive a full refund if requested within 14 days.
3. Subscription Refunds
3.1 General Refund Policy
Outside of the 14-day EU withdrawal period:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- No charges will be made after cancellation
3.2 Pro-Rata Refunds
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time in your billing period. When you cancel:
- You retain full access to your subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew
- No additional charges will be made
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We may provide refunds outside of the standard policy in exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion:
- Service outages: Extended periods where our service was unavailable
- Billing errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
- Unauthorized charges: Charges made without your authorization
- Technical issues: Persistent technical problems preventing service use

- Your account email address
- A detailed explanation of the circumstances
- Any relevant supporting documentation
5. How to Request a Refund
5.1 Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Send an email to hello@530am.io
- Include your account email address
- State clearly that you wish to request a refund
- For EU withdrawal rights, mention "Right of Withdrawal" in your subject line
- Provide your reason (if applicable)
5.2 Processing Timeline
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
- Review: Eligible refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days
- Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days
- Receipt: Refunds will be returned to your original payment method
Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
6. Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company:
- Please contact us first at hello@530am.io to resolve the issue
- Your account may be immediately suspended pending resolution
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
- We reserve the right to dispute illegitimate chargebacks
⚠️ Note: Chargebacks should be used as a last resort. Most issues can be quickly resolved by contacting our support team directly.
7. Subscription Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as requesting a refund:
- To cancel: Visit your account settings and click "Cancel Subscription"
- Effect: Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund the current period
- Access: You retain access until the end of your current billing period
- Reactivation: You can reactivate your subscription at any time
8. Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails:
- We will attempt to process the payment up to 3 times over 7 days
- You will receive email notifications about failed payments
- Your subscription will be suspended if payment cannot be collected
- No refund is necessary as no successful charge was made
- You can update your payment method in your account settings
9. Downgrading Subscriptions
If you downgrade from Inner Circle ($25/month) to Builder ($10/month):
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the difference in price
- You retain Inner Circle access until the downgrade takes effect
- The new billing amount will apply from the next billing date
10. Account Termination by 530am.io
If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service:
- No refund will be provided for the current billing period
- You will lose access immediately
- Future billing will be cancelled automatically
If we terminate your account for reasons other than Terms violations, we may provide a pro-rata refund at our discretion.
11. Currency and Processing Fees
- Refunds are processed in the original transaction currency
- We do not refund any currency conversion fees charged by your bank
- Payment processing fees are not refundable
- International transaction fees are not refundable
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will:
- Be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date
- Be communicated to active subscribers via email
- Take effect 30 days after notification
- Not affect refund requests made before the changes take effect
